Students who wish to seek employment immediately following receipt of a B.S. degree or pursue advanced degrees, and wish to obtain positions in fisheries science, aquaculture and/or aquatic management should select this option.
Develop and disseminate knowledge about aquatic animals and their habitats, including aquaculture; interactions between aquatic and terrestrial ecosystems; and fates and effects of pollutants; and appropriate management practices for the protection and use of aquatic ecosystems.
The Wildlife and Fisheries Department offers graduate education leading to the Master of Science in Wildlife and Fisheries Science with emphasis in wildlife, fisheries, and aquaculture.
