The Center provides a comprehensive approach to children, to enable them to function at the optimum of their potential. The role of parents, family and teachers is also vital in this objective and programs are provided to guide and encourage them.
The Foundations’ roots were first established in the 1960s with the incorporation of the Doctors Hospital Foundation, a supporting organization of Doctors Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. The name was selected to demonstrate their continued commitment to the osteopathic medical profession.
The organization's goal is to promote, develop, and establish the study, knowledge, philosophy and practice of osteopathy. Membership is primarily intended for osteopaths, osteopathic physicians, educators, researchers and scientists.
